CC with email

Unless you have actionable information, don’t CC multiple people in an email. Just email back and forth with different people in the group. When you finally have a specific set of information worked out, then send a group email. I would also attach this information in a word document or excel sheet with a version number, date, and time.

The problem is, we end up with such an astounding quantity of emails, that when someone does need us to do the one actionable item for us, that was in that one email seven emails ago, last week, within at least a dozen threads, it gets confusing. If organizing a schedule, that email from the previous week might have a long stale version of a schedule anyway.
